BPSF celebrates amazing results at our 2018 Big Event!

Together we raised over $55k FORE OUR SCHOOLS!

4th Grade Teacher adFORE OUR SCHOOLS!  We invited our VIP guests to arrive for a 5pm “tee time” and the General Admission folks tee’d up for fun at 5:30pm.  During our Clubhouse Social Hour our guests browsed through the SILENT AUCTION tables, joined in on the RAFFLES, played some golf-related GAMES – including the golf simulator, and mingled with our 4A GRANT DEMONSTRATORS!  The live musical talents of BHS Student: Ukilili (Lili Charlier) was enjoyed during social hour.  Our guests raved about the delicious Mixed Greens Salad with Berries, Irma’s Potroast, and Dessert that was served.  During the program, guests were informed about the history of BPSF and what enhancements BPSF has provided through the arts, academics, athletics, and activities for the students of the Brainerd Public Schools. We recognized and celebrated the 2017 4A Grant Winners who were in attendance! The fun continued with brief presentation about our DREAM BIG initiative around Virtual Reality in the classrooms and a live auction  The fun didn’t end when the Silent Auction closed (which raised over $26k!)… many guests joined us in the Legacy Grille for the 19th Hole After-Party with live music from Dave Burkart.

DRESSING THE PART was only part of the fun!!  Check out the pictures on our Facebook page by clicking HERE!

We couldn’t have reached such a great level of success without our premier Hole-in-One sponsors: LINDAR & avantech!  We also want to give a huge shout out to our birdie-level sponsors: Essentia Health, Bremer Bank, and Goldleaf Partners.  Our silent auction also hit an all time high with over 200 items and $26k+ raised – special thanks to CTC for again sponsoring the electronic auction.  All of our sponsors, supporters, donors, attendees and bidders helped us to exceed ALL of our goals and for that we are TRULY thankful!

We’d love to know what you thought!  Please help us by sharing what we should start doing, stop doing, and continue to do to ensure the success of this event in future years. Click here to complete our brief 5 question survey.

    Brainerd Public Schools FOUNDATION

The VISION of the Brainerd Public Schools Foundation is for the young people of the Brainerd Lakes Area to have the finest educational opportunities possible to enable all individuals to reach their full potential as learners, participants, citizens, artists, athletes and contributors to our community and the whole of society.

The MISSION of the Brainerd Public Schools Foundation is to enhance opportunities for quality academics, arts, activities and athletics for the students of the Brainerd Public School District.

Class Funds – Scholarship or 4A Grants

The classes of 1945, 1946, 1954, and 1974 each have one in place.  Currently the Classes of 1967 and 1969 are both working to set up funds! SO EXCITING!

How does this work? The Brainerd Public Schools Foundation (BPSF) has endowments established for this purpose.  The process is fairly simple.  As a class you choose your desired intention and sign a fund agreement.  Currently, our two fund options are: Scholarship Funds or start a 4A Grant Funds.  Scholarships are awarded annually in May at our Senior Recognition Night to graduating seniors. 4A Grants are designed to support the Arts, Academics, Athletics and Activities for the students of the Brainerd Public Schools. Brainerd Public Schools staff are encouraged to apply for funds to carry-out a unique or innovative program/project they want to facilitate that general operating dollars simply cannot support. 4A grants are awarded to school district staff and coaches in December of each year.   Donations are tax-deductible.
